More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Building my business, the environment, politics/government. And recently, running around with my new dog.

I typically spend my leisure time

There is the usual - hanging out with friends, skiing, relaxing on the couch and going for a run. More than that, I love to get out of the City ? whether it is to New Paltz, Vermont, Colorado or abroad. I'm generally a curious person, so having the opportunity to see new things is important. And I also enjoy the quiet and time away from the big city.

The most influential person in my life has been

Passion, drive and caring. I would like to find someone who wakes up every day and is passionate about what they do. I?m not looking for someone with the same interests/passions, but rather someone who has interests larger than their immediate surroundings. Someone who enjoys talking and learning about new subjects and this crazy world. I've lived in the city most of my life, but I've just scratched the surface of the many gems the city has to offer. I'm hoping to find someone who is eager to search out all the weird and interesting things that define NY. And then go and see them.

The last book I read and enjoyed

This isn?t the last book I read, but it?s fascinating: "The Works: Anatomy of a City" is terrific. It explains many of NYC's oddities, like why those big silver nitrogen tanks are all around the City or what exactly that steam is coming out of the street. And yes I know it?s really a coffee table book, but I?m still going with it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Having a clear understanding of myself while maintaining the ability to grow
  2. Friends and family that care
  3. Professional success

Friends Describe me as

Good listener, Intelligent, Passionate, Warm

A little more about me

I have many interests - from politics, urban planning and the environment to woodworking (not that I am able to do this much in the City) and pretty much anything outdoors.Around the City, I am always up for learning about something new and different, whether it be a talk or a museum.
