More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am probably most passionate about hanging out with my friends, no matter whether we're hanging out at someone's place, going out to movies or dinner, or even just chatting online or on the phone.

I typically spend my leisure time

I usually play video games, watch sports and anime, hang out with friends, sleep, or eat. It really varies day to day on what kind of mood I'm in. I read a decent amount, though not as much as I used to.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want other people to be able to understand me most of all. I tend to come across as aloof and slightly haughty, but I'm actually a good person once you get underneath the layers of cynicism.

The first thing people notice about me

Most people notice that I eat a lot. It has to do with that whole metabolism thing. That and eating is one of my favorite pastimes.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished House of Chains, the fourth book in the Malazan series by Stephen Erikson. It continues from his other books relating the tale of the world he has created and has mainly to do with a rebellion in a conquered Malazan province with a very 7th century ad arabian feel to it. Erikson does a very good job of twisting many characters and plotlines together into a cohesive story, and parts of it are just soul stirring. I think the previous volume, Memories of Ice was better, but it was still a good read, and I'm anxiously waiting to tear into his next work.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My good health
  2. My circumstances of childhood
  3. My friends and family

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

People tend to think I'm a bit lazy, since I don't appear to do all that much. But I actually spend a lot of time on the things I'm interested in, given my slightly obsessive personality.

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Dependable, Intelligent, Rational

A little more about me

I have really varied interests and don't really feel that word on a page really capture my true essence. Anytime I'm faced with having to describe myself, I generally type the first things that come to mind, and while they're usually accurate, they're definatly not the only things I am.
