More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Preserving my Afro Carribean culture and learning more about cultures throughout the African, Latin American and Carribean diaspora as well as Asian and the asian sub-continent regions as well...

I typically spend my leisure time

Dancing, Writing, Playing Musical Instruments (piano/keyboard, guitar & various percussion instruments), TRYING to write rhymes/poetry (I usually just end up making myself and others laugh or expressing the deepest, most secretive & most fierce emotions that existed inside of me) Cooking, Exercising, Capoeira when I'm well (an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art) striving for self-improvement and spiritual awareness/consciousness through reading, research and the arts.

The most influential person in my life has been

Mutual respect for one another's views, past experiences, culture, and morals. And someone who values truth, knowledge, wisdom, self-awareness and Rhythms, Sounds and Movement!.

The first thing people notice about me

How outgoing I am and my energy.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I've been very ill lately so I haven't felt like reading lately. A few months ago I read the Isis Papers. ***Update*** I'm making gradual progress health wise thanks to my most recent read "The Herb Book" by John Lust very extensive book it's more like a blasted encyclopedia...I wish my boy J Dilla could of had a hold of it...R.I.P brethren

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Health
  2. Ability to accquire knowledge and wisdom
  3. Ability to keep sanity, joy/humor and a firey fighting spirit in the midst of adversity & desolence

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How much I am NOT like the average sista in this country and generation and my unwavering LOYALTY.

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Funny, Intelligent, Outgoing

A little more about me

I don't care for fake people who aren't honest with themselves and people who lack consciousness, compassion & understanding, who are afraid of finding out the truth about themselves and their identities...And being held accountable for acquiring and possessing such knowledge... ALSO, for the men out there who would pity, shun, ill-treat or feel they shouldn't have to "settle" for a cancer survivor whose body isn't ABSOLUTELY PERFECT looking because she had to go through obstacles that she didn't choose to, I'm asking KINDLY to please MOVE to the next "match". I am not for the superficial, lily-livered, "trophy" wife seeking, "ambitious" man.
