More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Being healthy, happy, succesful, and in a loving relationship.

I typically spend my leisure time

Movies, I love football video games (I know it's childish but it is my vice), hate computers so this is a stretch for me. People can let a computer ruin their lives and relationships.

The most influential person in my life has been

Respect and honesty. Being a child of divorce I see that love is not the only thing you need in a healthy relationship. Love itself cannot get you through everything, I know that may seem harsh and unromantic but respect and honesty are just as crutial as love.

The first thing people notice about me

You'd have to ask other people! I don't know perhaps my manners. I call people sir and ma'am, open doors for women, help elderly people with bags or groceries. Just comes from being raised in the south I think. Here in California, if you hold the door for an elderly woman she says thank you and seems surprised. Back home, that courtesy is expected.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Tim Dorsey's "Torpedo Juice". It's the newest in a series about a psychopath named Serge A Storms and his loadie buddy Coleman who tear through South Florida on insane adventures. Although Serge is a murdering sociopath, you can't help but love the guy. He is a complete genius who happens to be criminally insane, but he really only kills really bad people, even though he's not a great guy himself. By far the best developed and well written character I've ever read. The thing I like most about Dorsey is that I started reading his stuff when I was in Iraq. And all his books take place in South Florida, where I'm from. Made me feel at home.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My life. After a year in Iraq, you cherish life alot more
  2. My family who will always be there for me
  3. The Minnesota Vikings!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I have no idea. Really none at all. People who get to know me get to know almost everything about me, people who don't, well they don't. So there really isn't anything I wish people would notice about me.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Respectful
