The one thing I am passionate about...
My son, my work and my friends bring me a lot of joy right now. I used to get really involved with activities, and I am glad I did. But these days I am more into being with the people I love in a laid back way, just having fun with my day to day life. I tend to get involved with organizations I care about a lot, too.
I typically spend my leisure time
I spend a lot of my spare time playing with my son, cooking, or hanging out in my neighborhood. After a long week I do like to veg out. I travel quite a bit, too, with friends an family on both coasts (and in Texas) who I love to see when I can.
The most influential person in my life has been
This is such a hard question to answer. I may look like I know what I want, but sometimes the best quality is the one I least expect. At the end of the day, I am really looking for chemistry - someone who I love to be with who loves to be with me.
The first thing people notice about me
I think people notice that I am a passionate person. I tend to really get into things - issues, ideas.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read and really liked was called Foreign Babes in Beijing. It is about a woman in her 20s who moves to Beijing on a whim and gets more than she bargained for. I loved it because it was both a lighthearted story about growing up and a political analysis of the "new China".
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My son - he is a terrific kid
- My health - so far, so good
- My friends and family
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I wish people could see my silly side. It takes a while for it to come out. I love comic books and bad movies and making fun of the current administration.
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Energetic, Intelligent, Passionate
A little more about me
I definately have a dark side - humor, sarcasm - but it is really harmless, because at heart I am a healthy, positive person. I am not afraid to try new things and I love to learn. I work hard and love my life, and hope to find someone to share with.
