More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about yoga. I love teaching yoga and taking other instructors classes. But don't worry, I won't nag you about going to yoga class with me; however, if you're open to the experience, we can practice some very powerful partner poses. I enjoy hiking, sports and trying new restaurants. #DCFoodie

I typically spend my leisure time

I love being physically active and engaging in leisure sports such as riding my bicycle, running/walking and hiking. I am a committed (HBO) Boardwalk Empire fan. I love Scandal and PBS/Masterpiece's Downton Abbey too. I don't watch a lot of television, but I also love the throwback shows on COZI and METV like The Rifleman, Batman, Dragnet, Bionic Woman, The Six Million Dollar Man and Magnum PI. I have a long list of National Parks and historic sites to visit. As a child, my parents took us to many places on family vacations, but I think it will be neat to visit the Redwoods and Gettysburg as an adult...just haven't done it yet.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. a loving family and close friends
  2. my resourcefulness and the opportunities given to me
  3. being able to share with others

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
