More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I have a passionate streak about most things in my life. I tend to put a lot into my relationships. I spend a lot of time with my friends who are not only a source of good times but are also just incredible people. I'm passionate about my job and am lucky to have found work that channels my creativity. I love to cook and I'm fascinated by all things related to home design. I prefer music over TV as my background noise.

I typically spend my leisure time

Meeting up with friends for brunch or dinner or checking out a laid-back bar or lounge for a drink. Always up for live music and I've been wanting to take a cooking class. Love to hit the MoMA or Met. And I'm a regular at a downtown yoga center. Also I do enjoy the occasional shopping venture, especially browsing home boutiques.

The most influential person in my life has been

that indescribable chemistry of feeling like we connect with each other

The first thing people notice about me

My approachability and down-to-earth nature.

The last book I read and enjoyed

That would be Freakonomics. I'm a sucker for sociological analysis and I just found the book's comparisons between two seemingly unrelated groups of people really interesting. Admittedly I read way fewer books than I should since I'm always busy reading a bunch of magazines.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. An inner positive spark that keeps me grounded and helps me enjoy the moment.
  2. A great group of friends who keep me smiling.
  3. Being able to live and work in New York and just be in this crazy city.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm pretty easy to read actually, but I think I'm sometimes quieter and less outgoing when I first meet people. My sarcasm comes out the better I know you.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Hard Working, Passionate, Sweet

A little more about me

When I was in between jobs once, I took a job as a dog walker, which was honestly a lot of fun.
