The one thing I am passionate about...
hi potential match :)hope box #31 meets u in good health.i'm not really paaaassionate abt any 1 thing. i enjoy many different things, & hve deep desires to do others. since i do hve to put something in this space, hmmm... wht comes to mind first & foremost, is NATURE. I LOVE THE OUTDOORS!! be it in person, a documentary on pbs, or as wallpaper on my pc. wild animals, land/seascapes, flowers, hiking the mountains, swimming in the basin of a waterfall, or even better, standing under the falls, a georgeous sunrise/set!yep.. that's MY PASSION! its not "deep" as mother theresa, but its MY PASSION!by the way, hope u read shorthand. :)
I typically spend my leisure time
lately, very uneventful, but typically... going to the movies; lunch/dinner with friends; watching tv (pbs); catching some early morning "rays" at the beach/my porch, relaxing by the pool/lake/beach; swimming; keeping in touch with family/friends who r scattered across the globe. i know.. get a life! ha ha. otherwise, i enjoy doing many different activities: traveling, hiking, camping, theater, gardening, crafts to name a few. in the sporting arena..boxing & car-racing (spectator!). variety.. the spice of life! OH! i almost forgot.. i am looking for a sky-diving partner! up for the challenge? :))))
The most influential person in my life has been
TONS of integrity. i have no tolerance for lies & infidelity.
The first thing people notice about me
my warmth. people tend to feel very comfortable around me.
The last book I read and enjoyed
i'm not an avid reader. it has been quite a while since i read a book, & i don't really recall the details. i do remember that the story was about the life of an african-american dr. & his family. the vivid writing took me back to the earlier years, all the way to macon, ga, where the story was set; it totally captivated me.. i barely put the novel down until i was finished reading it. aside from that, light reading... informative material.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My parents/upbringing
- God's blessings that He bestows on me daily
- My large family (siblings, etc. far from perfect, but won't trade)
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
that i am really a friendly person. i tend to have a serious facial expression.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Good listener, Respectful, Warm
A little more about me
dear potential match: hope u don't mind my casual style of writing. i just choose not to get too fussy over the unnecessary "stuff". pretty much the way i like my food.. keep the bones; & what's up with the oversized plate with the highly-piled gourmet meal? is that my dinner, or the center-piece?(lol). also, partly responsible for this "lazy" style of typing, is my work experience.. its just the nature of the job. plus, i'm just a very "down-to-earth" person.. not an impressionist. oh! also, i may be a mature, 46 yr old woman, but i'm very young at heart. i'm like the energizer bunny! :)
