More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Important things: Family, faith, loyalty, honesty and kindness. Work hard but enjoy life. I'd rather play sports than watch them, but I like going to baseball games. Lately, I play a lot of tennis and some golf. I enjoy most water sports, and I love the beach (but am happy to take a book and relax).I like to read history and follow politics, and I enjoy going to the theater. I love learning random things by surprise. If I have a question, I'll look for the answer. Smoking bothers me, but I might smoke a couple of cigars during the course of the year. I drink on occassion, but not a lot. Illegal drug use is a non-starter with me.

I typically spend my leisure time

Lately, I've been playing tennis and golf. I also spend time working on my house and yard.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty and Loyalty.

The first thing people notice about me

I think most people assume I am formal/serious person. I like to think of myself as someone who appreciates serious things without taking myself too seriously.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I spend most of my work day reading and writing, so I don't always spend a lot of down-time reading. Having said that, I usually read 2-3 books (mostly non-fiction) at a time. I like biographies and history, but lately I've been reading a couple of books on Christian apologetics. This has been rewarding as I've had the opportunity to reexamine those things I had always assumed to be true, and I now have a better understanding of how we came to those conclusions.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family & Friends
  2. Faith
  3. Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I hope that people come away from a conversation with me with the feeling that I am an honest and friendly person.

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Hard Working, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm pretty straight forward. Ask me a question and I'll give you an honest answer.
