More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I truly enjoy music, especially experiencing live performances with those people who are important in my life. I also enjoy fine dining and cooking at home for friends and family. I like to be outdoors with my dog and throw his beloved tennis ball, and just have fun in the sun. But my greatest passion lies in the service I provide to my patients and their families every day. It's so important to me to know that I've made some kind of positive influence to those that I'm dedicated to caring for.

I typically spend my leisure time

When I have the time, I like to relax with a good cup of coffee and just watch the clouds and let my mind take me whever it may. I also enjoy going for a long leisurely drive through less traveled roads of Connecticut and taking in all the scenery.

The most influential person in my life has been

Generosity is most important to me. Generosity in the willingness to share not just material things, but to share the spirit in love and honesty. Being generous is difficult. To be generous even with the knowledge that there will always be others who look to hurt and take advantage is the greatest continuing show of heart and courage.

The first thing people notice about me

My laugh. I'm usually the first to laugh at a joke and I'm not ashamed that when I really get going I may snort just a little bit.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book that I read was a small, palm-sized book by Fred Rogers called "Wisdom From the World According to Mister Rogers Important Things to Remember". I had always watched Mr. Rogers' show growing up and loved his gentle and kind manner and this book showcases some of the tennants by which he lived by. I pick it up whenever I'm having a bad day and somehow, it never fails to make me smile.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I tend to be painfully shy when first meeting people. I think that sometimes people think that I'm not friendly or interested, but the truth is that I'm so terribly shy that it's difficult for me to open up and be myself. Once I start getting comfortable and relaxed and feel that I can speak openly and make some dirty jokes, then you can't get me to stop.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Generous, Genuine, Loyal

A little more about me

Finally...I've posted a picture of myself. It's taken me a while to get comfortable with the idea, but nevertheless here it is.
