The one thing I am passionate about...
Living & Enjoying life - Learning new things, empowering others to believe in themselves, Traveling to new places, having adventures (I love snorkeling, searching for sea turtles, swimming with sting rays, exploring tropical islands, skiing and more). Trying new restaurants and different foods -on the quest for the fantastic Indian and Mexican food:) Being inspirational and being inspired by others.
I typically spend my leisure time
Lots of different ways, attending fun and different workout classes like yoga or body pump, hiking, kayaking, skiing, learning to cook something, going to dinner parties, hanging out with friends and family, writing, reading, shopping, attending theatre, learning new things, going to movies, golfing (I'm a beginner). Planning my next adventure, traveling and more.
The most influential person in my life has been
A genuine person with a good heart. Someone that takes care of themselves and someone who enjoys life and loves to learn new things. Someone with a great sense of humor and someone who likes to laugh. Someone who has a good sense of who they are and they like who they are. Someone who is adventurous and has great energy.
The first thing people notice about me
People say I have a fabulous smile... that is appearance, so other than appearance.. my confidence, easy going manner and positive energy.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Eat Pray Love - what a fabuluous story about finding yourself while having adventures! Life of Pi - thought it was such a good story and I still discuss the ending (having different perspectives of what really happened). Blink, the power of thinking without thinking by Malcolm Gladwell. It was interesting regarding how we think and how many of our thoughts have to do with our backgrounds and experiences. I also loved the Red Tent which looked at spiritual material from a different interesting expanded perspective. And I enjoy books by Deepak Chopra (to love well and be loved well are the main lessons in life).
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Being able to experience this amazing world
- My family and friends
- My learning experiences
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Hmmm????? That I have 6 toes, just kidding I only have 4! ha ha really just kidding...
Friends Describe me as
Genuine, Intelligent, Thoughtful, Warm
A little more about me
I really love to laugh (so you need to be funny j/k) and I enjoy making others smile and laugh. Having lived in England for 6 months in a castle while an exchange student in college, I had ample time to travel through-out Europe and loved it. I also lived in China for part of a summer and climbed the Great Wall and truly enjoyed the city of Hong Kong. I've never been married, nor do I have any children - my priorities were my career and seeing the world. I'm looking for that great guy that makes me smile and I make him smile and we can continue to explore this amazing world and all that it offers together. I would like to go to Thailand.
