More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about a lot of things, so many in fact that it is impossible to even fit them in this tiny box...ANYTHING outdoors, live concerts, spending time with family and friends, french fries :), any type of learning channel..I have about 40 to choose from, theatre, movies, art, history, the beach, traveling, dancing (love to dance), reading good books, an occassional glass of wine, road trips to nowhere and weekend getaways with tons of songs on the ipod to jam too, being comfortable in silence and so much more, getting my Ph.D before I am 30 (cross your fingers)

I typically spend my leisure time

DE JA VU': ANYTHING OUTDOORS! beach, traveling, roadtrips, reading, always going to the beach, family and friends, dancing, live concerts, drinking a good glass of wine at a music festival with lots of food. I try to take as many weekend getaways, since studying keeps me pretty occupied during the week...but seven months and a dissertation later and I should be able to enjoy simple things like reading a book of my choice (thank goodness). I am pretty much up for anything new and exciting, I am an ADRENALINE JUNKIE!

The most influential person in my life has been

HONESTY!

The first thing people notice about me

Intelligence or Sense of Humor

The last book I read and enjoyed

Rampage: School Shootings and Why They Occur...I think it is pretty self explanatory but it gives an indepth description of what is taking place in today's school system and how society is shaping youth much faster then parents and what can be done if anything..I am a psych major what do you want? The next book would probably be Michael Crichton's State of Fear...the man is a genius and to describe it would not do the book justice, so read it for yourself...going to school full time does not give me as much reading time as I would like

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. The Daily Show :)

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Creative, Intelligent, Outgoing
