More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about a lot of different things. First and foremost, my daughter... and my family. I am very close to my family and I am super passionate about my job.

I typically spend my leisure time

I spend a lot of my leisure time with my family. I am super close to my family, so I enjoy spending time with them. I like to go out with my friends two or three times a month. I am a sucker for watching a good ball game- having a beer and eating a hot dog. I also like to read, and I spend a good amount of time working on my art.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone that is willing to take things one step at a time. I am a fan of getting to know someone before anything serious evolves. I need someone that is really layed back, responsible, mature/secure... and an awesome sense of humor.

The first thing people notice about me

I have been told several times by coworkers and friends that they initially notice my original personality. I am a very genuine and outgoing person. I can mingle with any group and I get a long with almost anybody.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished a Table in the Presence. It's a non-fiction book about a Navy Corpsman that was attached to a 5th Marines (the first Marine unit to invade Fallujah) and his expirience with turning young men to God and helping them cope with the harsh encounters of war and death. I liked everything about the book, it was absolutely enlightening and inspirational.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My daughter
  2. My family
  3. My friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am the most down the Earth, modest girl on Earth. Seriously... I hate it when people look at me and assume that I grew up with a silver spoon in my mouth and that I am materialistic. I could careless what your checkbook looks like or how much money is in your pocket. If I wanted a rich yuppie, I would head to downtown Chicago and splatter myself all over all the arrogant men down there. I like beer, not wine. I dig simplicity. So in a nutshell- it would be nice to meet someone initially that appreciates my personality.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Loyal, Outgoing

A little more about me

That I don't have time for dramatic, jealous... possesive, irresponsible, or out of control guys. I am an independent girl that needs a good amount of space to feel comfortable with someone.
