More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love trying new things and going new places. A big part of life is being ready for whatever it throws at you!

I typically spend my leisure time

I wouldn't call it "leisre" but I'm trying to put in some serious time at the gym these days: I have this crazy idea in my head that I'm going to run a marathon next year. Put me in front of the tube with a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game and I'm set for the night. I like to read, love movies and having dinner/drinks with friends. I like to pretend I'm good at playing pool, but I should probably just stick to shuffleboard. Have also been known to join a poker tournament or two. I'm exremely close with my family and I enjoy spending at least one day a week with them poolside. Love to hike up North Mountain when it's not 1000 degrees outside.

The most influential person in my life has been

How about a tie for "most important"? Honesty and humor are a must in the equation for a successful relationship. If you can't be honest with eachother, what else have you got? Being happy together means going through it all: the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's equally important to be able to laugh at life's little quirks and grow from them.

The first thing people notice about me

I must look pretty silly sometimes because I am forever trying to make people laugh...sometimes even at my own expense just to see a smile come from someone who's having "one of those days".

The last book I read and enjoyed

Mitch Albom's "The Five People You Meet in Heaven". I think the title pretty much gives away what the book is about. I was pleasantly surprised--it was definitely not what I expected.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My loving family
  2. Common sense
  3. A sense of humor

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a pretty open book. Everything I'd like people to notice about me, I pretty much just put right out there and don't make it too tough.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Funny, Sweet

A little more about me

What is one really supposed to say here? I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? If you have questions, ask away!
