More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love my dog! I enjoy gardening, fishing and cooking, especially the part when you cook what you caught fishing. I always carry my camera with me because I enjoy scrapbooking/cardmaking. I wouldn't be able to make it through the week without my church to go to on Sunday! I guess I'm most passionate about being alive...

I typically spend my leisure time

I spending time with my dog, not just walking her but "school". I have a small garden. I love to read. Bible study is very stimulating. I enjoy making things in my craft room. If I can, I throw in some fishing. I don't know if I really do leisure...all this sounds really busy. I like to do things, not sit around and watch tv.

The most influential person in my life has been

The willingness to be a friend. Friendship makes you want to compromise and be kind when your tired and go out to eat on a rainy day. It makes you want to help someone even when you feel wiped out from work. Friendship is a foundation on which you can grow a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

My Uncle Ronnie says I sparkle when I talk. I truly enjoy people and I like to mix my story with their's. The excitement is the sparkle and that's what people notice.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Bleak House" by Charles Dickens was a book that I read and enjoyed in the spring. It's a 1000 page book so it's a little hard to condense here. I'm reading "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis right now that I am enjoying that is a compilation of his radio shows and it's really thought-provoking. You can't just sit and read the whole thing through at once. You have to put it down and think a while...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God has blessed me with the life I have been given.
  2. I have a family that loves me.
  3. I have a job that supports me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am a sensitive person. Even when I don't complain, I still care if it hurts. When it's at work, I just have to put it away. At home, it would be nice to have someone to share it with once in a while. Other than the dog. As long as it ends in "cookie", she's with the program!

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Intelligent, Spiritual, Warm

A little more about me

I work very hard and I enjoy my job. I don't take off early or have long lunches. I saw a quote that I can't get out of my head, "You play, you win. You play, you lose. You play!" I thought that captured the passion nicely!
