The one thing I am passionate about...
Learning. Life has so much to offer and there are so many things to learn, be it with school subjects, new hobbies, different ways of life, or just self-growth. I love to learn about anything and everything. Pyschology is fascinating to me, because I enjoy looking out how the mind works and how different people think the same things but create different outlooks with that. Love and learning is what life is about.
I typically spend my leisure time
I like to read alot, about anything and everything. I enjoy movies (of all sorts) and random odd tv shows. I'm fairly laid back and mostly a homebody, but sometimes I do enjoy going out painting the town red. I enjoy knitting and writing and video games. Generally a little bit of everything...
The most influential person in my life has been
Some who is honest and hard-working. I'm looking for some one who knows what they want in life or is at least on the path to success and happiness in their life. I want some one who is passionate about things in life and who is open to the ups and downs of love. I want some one to fully understand the phrase, "To understand the pain of too much tenderness, and to bleed willingly and joyfully."
The first thing people notice about me
Physically, people tend to notice my eyes and smile. In personality, I would think that people either notice my sense of humor first, or they see that I'm fairly shy yet eager to help others.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I have a tendancy to read about 3 books at once. Currently, I'm rereading the "Harry Potter" series. The last book I read before that was "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, which is one of my favorite books. I'm also beginning "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire, and I'm also reading "The Hair Pulling Problem" by Dr. Fred Penzel
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My family, who are a constant source of love and support.
- I'm thankful that I know who I am, and yet I'm open to grow.
- For the opportunities I've been given.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I don't think people realize how intelligent I am. I think that sometimes I have a tendancy to get very excitable about the little things in life, and people begin to view me as childish, when I'm the exact opposite! Yes, I will get excited about some kiddish things (I'm a huge Harry Potter fan), but more often than not, I feel wiser than my years.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Funny, Good listener, Intelligent
A little more about me
I have Trichotillomania (TTM/Trich). Basically, it is an OCD. In layman's terms it's known as compulsive hair-pulling. While my condition is not severe, it is something I have. I'm currently trying to overcome this, but it's a hard battle.
