The one thing I am passionate about...
finding myself... career wise, emotionally, spiritually, mentally. This is going to sound lame, but "I want to be all that I can be" except not in the army. I don't want to look back in life and have regrets for what I didn't persue... I want to begin to stop thinking about what everone else wants me to do, and do want I want to do. Basically I don'y want my insecurities hold me back. There I said it, that is what I am passionate about.
I typically spend my leisure time
Recently, I have attempted to "tap into my creative side" (whatever that means). No seriously, I have recently started to paint. Now, I would not say I'm good at it, but I really enjoy it. And No, I'm not painting scenery with "happy little trees," I'm not sure what to call what I have painted, but I'm having fun and its relaxing and that is what is important!!!
The most influential person in my life has been
honesty, ambition, a sense of humor, faith in God....Oh wait that is more than one quality...oh well these are things I look for
The first thing people notice about me
These questions are hard. I can tell you what I hope people would see, but rarely do my impressions and reality meet. So let's keep it safe and say...my humor... I'm a goof ball.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I recently read a book, I think the title was "Reading Lolita in Tehran." It was about the struggles of women in Tehran. The interesting thing about the book was that it was told through the analysis of books like "The Great Gatsby" and other books. I would not be telling the truth, if I told you that the book, was easy to read. IT WASN"T, but it was great, I loved it...to tell you the truth I can't even explain why.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I am thankful for having parents who raised me with morals, showed me the importance of faith in God, and loved me unconditionally.
- I am thankful that I have the opportunity to go to a job that I love!
- I am thankful for my friends and family, that are supportive, yet funny and funky.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Again, with the hard questions... This is going to sound cheesy, but stay with me. I think the thing that I wish people would notice is that I'm sensitive, or something like that, I'm not sure how to explain it... That even though I don't fit the mold of typically women.. even though I'm self sufficient and "independent" I still want the same things as every other person. I have no lidea if I explained myself well, but I tried.
