More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm a nurse, and I think that nurses as a rule are passionate about alot of things. Besides having fun with my kids, I am passionate about learning and new experiences. I love learning and trying new things. Whether it's traveling or the History Channel. I love to question everything and find out the answers for myself. There isn't much of anything that I won't try once. I am also extremely patriotic, and am passionate about my country and politics. Yes, I have been "Hannitized." :) Please don't be shy about contacting me. If nothing else, one can never have too many friends!!

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to spend time with my kids doing just about anything. I love to read everything but sappy romance novels. I love singing whether at a karaoke bar or in church. Camping, canoeing, horseback riding. Teaching my dog tricks. Writing and photography.

The most influential person in my life has been

It's hard to narrow it down to one quality....so I won't :) Looking for someone who is loyal, honorable, and kind. Someone who knows the meaning of the phrase "family values," but is adventurous and fun loving at the same time. Stick-in-the-muds need not apply!

The first thing people notice about me

My friends often tease me that I put people at ease so much that I can learn someone's entire life history while checking out at the grocery store!

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Tyrannosaur Canyon" by Douglas Preston. I read it in a day. I'm a fast reader and it's a page-turner for sure. That particular book is a science-based adventure type.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. I don't know what I'd do without them.
  2. My ability to work and provide
  3. My faith and my country

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I truly don't know about this one. I guess if someone's around me long enough they're gonna' learn all they want to about me anyway!

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Intelligent, Loyal, Outgoing
