The one thing I am passionate about...
I love the White Sox (hate the Cubs), the Bears (even though they are pretty bad), camping, amusement parks, skinny dipping, flirting, piercings (depending on where they are!), playing pool, haunted houses, thunderstorms, concerts, BBQ's, picnics, beaches, swimming, parties with friends and family, fireworks, fireplaces, ghost stories, horror movies, drive-in theaters
I typically spend my leisure time
Baseball games, playing video games with my son, jumping on our trampoline, swimming, reading, going to the movies (the drive-in), sitting outside on our patio swing with my son curled up next to me with a fire going in our fire pit, having friends over for a BBQ or just to hang out
The most influential person in my life has been
would like to meet someone who has a sense of humor and is honest. I want someone who can be themselves and just have fun. Someone who is secure with who they are and not afraid to take chances. They must love kids and be understanding to the fact that my son comes first. Having a job helps! I don't care what they do or how much they make as long as they are happy with what they are doing. A physical attraction helps as well but I have learned through experience, time and maturing that what's inside is more important. What's in a person's heart will last forever whereas looks fade.
The first thing people notice about me
My smile. Everyone always tells me they never see me not smiling and that I light up a room when I smile.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read the entire Left Behind series...12 books in 3 weeks. I'm not very religious...I go to church on holidays, or for special occassions or for funerals but I picked up the first book in the series and I couldn't stop going and getting the next book in the series and then the next. It was a combination of learning about religion and also science fiction. I looked at religion differently and understood things that I hadn't gotten from church of sunday school when I was growing up. It hasn't made me into a religious fanatic or anything but it made me understand things and look at things differently and I love that air of the unknown.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My son
- My family
- My friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My nervousness. I always tend to hide it. When people first meet me; they tend to think I am so outgoing and confident and even though I may show that on the outside...inside I'm usually nervous and unsure
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Easy-Going, Funny, Romantic
