The one thing I am passionate about...
I strive to appropriately balance career, laughing, loving and learning. Sounds too cute by half, I know, but it's the truth. Some nights I look forward to a few drinks with friends, other times it's dinner at a new restaurant, maybe some theatre or a weekend trip. Often I enjoy diving into a thick book on a new subject I know little about and I've just recently started to make time for volunteering. I'm looking to meet someone who challenges me. Make me laugh, make me think, make me love. Sounds a touch ridiculous, right? But I've got to be honest...at least here, don't I? There's plenty of time for lying later...
I typically spend my leisure time
Movies, eating out, sporting events, drinks with friends, theatre and the odd cultural event. That about sums it up.
The most influential person in my life has been
A terrific sense of humor...with a touch of sarcasm.
The first thing people notice about me
It used to be my absurdly thick Canadian accent, but I've long since lost it, eh...
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Washington Post every morning. I'd list the last book I read, but then I'd always have to change this damn thing to actually reflect the last book I read. I read. Seriously. And not just "My Pet Goat."
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My career
- My friends
- My one-eyed cat
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
After months of soul searching, I can honestly say I have no idea how to answer this question. Okay, it wasn't months of soul searching. It was more like weeks...
Friends Describe me as
Ambitious, Dependable, Funny, Intelligent
A little more about me
I'm bad at math. It scares me...
