The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about the relationships I have with my family and friends. I'm passionate about music, animals, art, nature... and coffee. I am passionate about creating a positive experience for the people I manage at work. I am passionate about learning new things and expanding my awareness of myself and others.
I typically spend my leisure time
I like to spend my free time with friends, usually in a fairly low key setting - maybe meeting for a bite to eat or a movie. Once in a while, a fine dining splurge is nice. For times when free time is scarce, I first try to make sure I get to the gym for some stress relieving activity and then I like to take time to relax and recharge.
The most influential person in my life has been
I'm looking for someone that is comfortable in their skin and likes to laugh, someone who is considerate of others, takes care of themselves both physically and spiritually/emotionally and someone that is a good communicator.
The first thing people notice about me
I've never asked anybody that question, so I will guess that it's my sense of humor. I can find something to laugh about in almost any situation. The corporate world provides me with a lot of material on a daily basis, for which I am grateful. Of course, laughing is not always appropriate, so I try to keep my filter on at all times.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein. It's narrated by a dog named Enzo that is obsessed by the fact that humans have opposing thumbs and has a very humorous perspective on human behavior in general. It's a great, quick read. All the better if you like dogs.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My mom
- My friends
- The ability to breathe
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I have to think about this one.
Friends Describe me as
Good listener, Optimistic, Respectful, Warm
A little more about me
I tend to be cautiously optimistic when beginning relationships and like to take things slowly at first.
