More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Today is May 30. The politics of our nation are very important to me right now. I am not active, but I feel that we need to change the direction our country is heading. It's time for our government to care for those with no voice...the average Joe...no more special interests. (I know...I have a dream:)) War is not the answer..not now, not ever. My children's future is very much on my mind. Their happiness and success, their goals are important to me. For myself...retiring healthy and able to travel, perhaps finding a man with similar interests would be great. What we leave for the future is of concern to me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to read. If I have a book, no time is wasted. I like to travel. Riding my Harley is one fun way. I would like to start cruising more. I prefer riding with people, but I also travel alone. Camping is fun, although tents leave a LOT to be desired. Car travel, plane travel, sandy beaches, winter getaways....I love it all. (except HOT with HIGH humidity) I like to do just about anything around the house, as long as I have someone to do it with. From painting, plumbing, to cooking and gardening, it's more fun than work if you can share it. I'd like to do something with horses...not necessary, but it would be enjoyable.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

I hope that it's my sense of humor, but who knows?

The last book I read and enjoyed

Mystery/fiction about an accidental bounty hunter in NJ and her kooky family and sexy men. I laughed so hard I cried, and yet it kept me involved. The one I'm reading now...Betrayal by John Lescroart..very intense. About a mercenary and an Iraq war vet.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. a job that provides for my needs, and some wants
  2. happy, healthy, smart kids
  3. a peaceful, free life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm a loving, caring person

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Happy, Hard Working, Outgoing

A little more about me

I'm sincere, I care, i want to see beyond the horizon of a relationship.
