More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

The things I am most passionate about are my faith, family, and football. In each case, I am eager to share with others what I have learned, am learning, and to hear these same things from them. Jesus died for me and for this I praise him and have given him my life. My family and I are very close and they mean much to me, I enjoy their company, time, and voices. Football is what God has given me to teach and impact others lives, I grew up a coaches kid and love the opportunity to share with college age athletes. I most appreciate and am passionate about these things which I have done nothing to deserve.

I typically spend my leisure time

Athletics, reading, and traveling. I still enjoy sports I can play, golf and fastpitch softball are two of my favorites. I enjoy reading, biographies, novels, fiction, whatever, Oliver North and Frank Peretti are two of my favorite authors. I also enjoy and try to travel as much as financially and timely possible, I made a mission trip to Brasil three years ago and consider it the best summer of my life, I would return again in a heartbeat, the next overseas trip I want to make is Ireland, I enjoy how green it is and want to see the castles. Each of these things brings me joy and those are the things I want in my life.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who loves Jesus Christ first and last. Other than that, someone who is seeking to be involved in a giving, fulfilling life shared with another.

The first thing people notice about me

Some people a hidden talent of mine, others my smile, others my ability to listen, others my viewpoints on certain subjects.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Wild At Heart, it was so great because it caused me to use critical thinking to decide who I want to be as a man, coach, future husband, and future father. The book is written by John Eldredge and is about the pursuit of a the heart of a warrior, the heart of a man who does not want to be held back by what others may feel or consider of that man. It is about pursuing and finding one's self.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. faith in Jesus Christ's death on the cross for me
  2. my family
  3. the daily blessings I am suprised with

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Not all people see Christ in me immediately and this is who I desire to show through my life.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Generous, Genuine, Spiritual

A little more about me

I am entering this not looking for a relationship, but instead taking a chance to see what God may have in store for me, this may be a part of his plan or it may not.
