More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I like to laugh and enjoy living. Life is entirely too short to be unhappy, so smile and live. I work hard to develop myself and my career and the thing I always work to avoid is stagnation.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy spending time with my friends and exploring Houston. On weekends, I like to play paintball (I know, I'm not 14 anymore, but its frickin fun) or traveling. I have put over 100k miles on my Jeep since I bought it two years ago, so most of my trips are long weekends or fun day trips.I spend plenty of time reading or doing whatever comes up. I really think it is hard to say I have a usual when I have leisure time. I just kinda go with the flow and enjoy myself.

The most influential person in my life has been

I look for someone who is comfortable enough with themselves to be in any situation as well as being able to help those less fortunate than themselves. Physically, I look for a smile and just a generally positive disposition.

The first thing people notice about me

I have been told that I have everything together. I am very realistic and tend to have control of my life, even if it is chaotic at times. Few things ever make me fret, but I have always been fortunate enough to plan for the future.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I went on a Malcolm Gladwell kick for a little bit and read all of his books. Tipping Point and Blink were definitely some of my favorites now. I really think it is interesting how people think, so after reading Blink, I have started reading a few books used as references.I try to read as much as possible. Right now, I am revisiting the Dale Carnegie books because some of the best things need to be repeated. As for my favorite book of all time, I would have to say Shogun or The Count of Monte Cristo. I have read both several times.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Friends who are like Brothers to me.
  2. My Family. All of it.
  3. My interesting life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I tend to handle every problem analytically, so my compassionate side can be hidden under that. When someone makes it through to see that, we tend to become much better friends.
