The one thing I am passionate about...
Faith, Family, and Friends. I like to keep up with current events, in particular political and world events that can impact our country. I am also lucky to work for a great company, doing work that I absolutely love.
I typically spend my leisure time
I love learning new things, trying new foods, and learning from others. I've been spending a lot of time recently studying for the GMAT test to meet my goal of getting an MBA.
The most influential person in my life has been
I?m looking for three critical components in a person to have a relationship with. The first is a genuine love for Jesus Christ. It?s crucial we have the same faith and beliefs. It?s an important part of my life and should be an important part of yours. The second, is a love of your family. Family has also been an important part of my life, and sometimes I feel in today?s society they are often forgotten. My family has always been an awesome support system. Lastly, it?s important to be honest and open in a relationship. It?s a key value that if missing can be devastating to a relationship.
The first thing people notice about me
I think the first thing people notice about me is that I?m a good guy. I don?t try to be someone I?m not, I don?t try to put on an act. You?ll find that I like to listen to you, learn from you, and enjoy trying new and different things with you. I?m happy and I like to smile a lot.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I love reading! I primarily read Stephen King novels and novellas, which I will argue the majority of are not scary! The last King book I read was Cujo and Under the Dome, two books I really enjoyed. The last non-fiction book I read was George W. Bush?s Decision Points, which I feel gave an interesting insight into his presidency. My next for-fun-book will be David Baldacci?s The Camel Club.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Having a loving and forgiving Savior in Jesus Christ
- Having a great family who loves me and cares about me
- Being blessed in my professional life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I can be an extrovert! In general, I?m an introvert but that doesn?t always mean shy and quiet. I don?t like to spend a lot of time focusing on myself. I like to listen to others and learn from others. But, when I?ve become comfortable with people, I definitely like to talk, share my opinions, and be straight-forward!
Friends Describe me as
Hard Working, Loyal, Optimistic, Sweet
A little more about me
I think my friends would consider me a ?good guy who is easy to get along with and thoughtful.? My Southern roots means I?ll do those things you don?t see very often like opening doors for you and trying to listen to your input and what you have to say. You don?t have to worry about me trying to be the center of attention or focusing on myself very often. I enjoy learning new things, having new experiences, and meeting awesome people.I attend a good, Bible-preaching Baptist church just outside of Richmond that I love attending and serving. I'm part of the AWANA program where I lead kids in games as a reward for learning God's word!
