More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about spending time with my family and friends. Politics will keep me talking all day long. I have a fierce passion for music and entertainment, and I love to travel and explore new places. I'm a midwestern girl down to the core, and I can tell you all kinds of places to see and eat where I've lived and traveled. I play handbells and sing in choir in church and I have to have to admit that I'm addicted to television. I'm a margarita afficianodo and Cubs fan. And I love to laugh!

I typically spend my leisure time

I love music, tv and movies. I love trying out new restaurants or visiting my old favorites. I enjoy walks in the evening during summer or just watching clouds pass by, but I love to play board games or participate in almost any activity. I also love to travel when I have the time.

The most influential person in my life has been

Faith, sincerity and a strong character.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a little quiet and reserved when I first meet people, but I'm also friendly and try to give everyone a fair chance. But don't count out the dimples!

The last book I read and enjoyed

Julie & Julia. A secretary who feels lost in her life regains her joy after working her way through Jula Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in one year's time. Real life story of someone who was trying to find her way through life. The movie did Julia more justice, but I enjoyed both the book and movie. I won't be recreating Julie's experiment, but I also like to cook and bake when I have time.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My belief in and being saved by Jesus.
  2. My immediate and extended family.
  3. My friends from throughout my life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm brilliant and hysterically funny...just kidding! ;)

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Intelligent, Kind, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I'm looking for someone to become friends with and develop a relationship with. I'll be honest and tell you that dating again makes me a little nervous!
