More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Beavers and Blazers. And oreo cookies and milk. Went to OSU so you know I have to represent. I have season tickets to the Blazers, Bayless and Pryz are my favorite players but really you have to love the whole team. I like to get out and be active, playing basketball or exercising. I have been known to annihilate some of my students playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. I do have an intellectual side to me, believe it or not. I like to read, especially autobiographies like those of Ghandi or Malcom X.

I typically spend my leisure time

Hanging out with friends and family. I also enjoy just kicking back watching tv or movies like 30 rock, weeds, californication, step brothers, the hangover...

The most influential person in my life has been

It's tough to boil it down to one quality. I think it is the combination of a lot of qualities, and there isn't necessarily one quality that trumps all others. It's a mix of physical and nonphysical characteristics.

The first thing people notice about me

I would have to say my humor. I try to be funny most of the time, I'm not sure how funny it actually is, but I think I'm funny...

The last book I read and enjoyed

I am reading Tokyo Vice right now, it is really good. The author was a journalist in Japan and discusses the ins and outs of being a journalist, as well as the most feared Yakuza crime syndicate and how they operate.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family and Friends
  2. Being healthy and physically active
  3. Being able to teach and coach

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My bald head, no one ever notices.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Intelligent, Physically Fit
