More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Nursing. I have a passion for helping others and I gain so much joy from being there for my patients and their families in their time of crisis. This is a passion that I believe Christ put in my life and every day that I go to work, I feel that I am honoring Him. It's a beautiful profession and I am so blessed that I have this opportunity to impact people's lives.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, crafting (I make homemade soaps, and crafts out of wine corks) binge watching The Big-Bang Theory, and hiking on the trails near my house.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone who has a classy sense of humor, appreciates my honesty and sarcasm, and who is more of an extrovert. I could use the encouragement to come out of my shell (I'm a die hard introvert). I would also really appreciate someone who has a strong faith in Christ.

The first thing people notice about me

My sarcastic humor. I have a very dry, blunt sense of humor which surprises many people because I can be very shy at first glance. Once I get past the initial encounter with people however, the shyness goes out the window.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte is hands-down my favorite book. It has such haunting characters and insane amounts of advice to live by. No matter how many times I read it, I always find something new to take from it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. My best friend
  3. My job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How much I truly care about people. My sense of humor and sarcasm often gives people the impression that I am pessimistic and judgmental. But I truly love people (I am a nurse after all), I just struggle with being vulnerable and letting go. I really have to get to know people before I can truly be myself.

A little more about me

I collect coffee mugs; the more unique the better. There is nothing quite like an awesome cup of coffee in my favorite mug. I love tattoos (I have 3 currently and am planning on getting more) I'm terrified of clowns; I watched Stephen Kings "It" when I was 8 and never really recovered.

Very Conservative
