The one thing I am passionate about...
I love sports: baseball, basketball, football and golf. Yes, fair warning: ESPN is one of my favorite channels. I love movies, reading, TV and spending time with friends/family. Music: I probably know way more about classic rock (60s-80s) than I could ever try to pretend to about music from "our generation"; although I do like some current stuff. Huge soft spot for (most) animals, especially dogs! LOVE being able to laugh and make others laugh along (even sometimes at my own expense, although not necessarily self-depricating). Overall very easy-going; go with the flow. And love history too: majored in college, kind of no choice
I typically spend my leisure time
I play golf (this includes mini-golf) bowling, or shoot hoops and even baseball if you can ever get enough people together. I can easily go to the movies as well and never mind going to eat out. I can be a go-with-the-flow kind of guy and be willing to try most new things (more so now than years' past) but I am also somewhat of an introvert/homebody. I can be just as content staying in and getting into a stupid marathon of tv shows or movies or eating dinner and talking with each other. As I said elsewhere on here, the activity isn't the most important part and whatever it is can easily be made enjoyable/more enjoyable by the compan
The most influential person in my life has been
Its simple: I'm looking for someone who can laugh "at me"/with me. In turn she can make me laugh or even just smile (or shake my head in "happy" disbelief) with what she might say/do. I want to be with someone that the chemistry just fits like a glove. Just "getting each other" is very important to me.
The first thing people notice about me
My sarcastic/dry sense of humor. Obviously I know there are times to wait to be funny or just not be funny at all, however in a "normal" situation, I'm usually trying to say something (even if its admittedly stupid and lame sometimes- hey, I go with the material I've got in front of me) to try to get a laugh, put people in a good mood.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Starting the new series by Robert Galbraith; not bad so far.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My family
- Overall very good health
- Being financially comfortable
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I wish people could see how I'm very loyal: if we've been through SOMETHING notable together (grew up together, always been friends, family obviously etc) you'll never have to worry or question about whether I have your back or not.I'm also quite a reserved guy but open up quickly. And then once I do open up its hard to keep me quiet lol.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Loyal, Rational, Respectful
A little more about me
I do want to try to expand my horizon of "enjoying life". I want to try to go to live concerts or travel more. I'm a history major so sight seeing is always game for me; maybe just need a partner to do it with. Always open for other suggestions!
