More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about my career (love being an accountant and business advisor). I'm passionate about my friends and family. There is nothing in the world like the comfort that comes from knowing there are certain people in the world that you can ALWAYS count on whether it is emotional support or help moving; the flip side is knowing that you are there for other people. Definitely gives you a "karma boost" to know that you hold a certain degree of significance to others in terms of who you are as a person. Being able to help people I care about is so very important to me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy spending time with friends and family; telling stories and sharing our lives. I enjoy time spent with my dog; we're getting ready to start agility training to redirect his energy in a positive outlet. I also enjoy reading and learning. I think I watch too much TV... Excited about the Olympics this year... I'll be cheering on Michael Phelps.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty is the most important quality. Any friendship or relationship should be based on pure and simple honesty.

The first thing people notice about me

People tend to notice my eyes which apparently are very expressive.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The final Harry Potter book. I started in the middle of the series (book 4) because my younger sister just raved about the series. I like how the book tied up loose ends... although you could kind of tell how it would end, JKR kept you guessing through the end. That was about a year ago - my next literary adventure will be "The Speed of Light" by Elisabeth Rosner.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family
  2. Successful career
  3. My independence

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people would not always interpret me as being shy. I can be a little reserved when I first meet new people but I open up very quickly once I feel comfortable.

Friends Describe me as

Good listener, Hard Working, Intelligent, Sweet

A little more about me

Somone once asked me if I was music what song(s) would best represent me... my answer was and still is Weezer's Blue Album.
