More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My family and friends, my pug, my job, and having fun.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, physical activity in the gym or outdoors, going to restaurants/bars with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

There's a lot of qualities I'm looking for in another person. One of the most important to me that I think makes for a successful relationship is open communication. I'm not sure anyone ever finds that perfectly ideal prototype they have in their head, but as long as you can talk freely about issues that come up, and deal with them in a mature way, then I think you can make a relationship work well.

The first thing people notice about me

It wish it was that I smile a lot, but probably my laugh and my height.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I tend to read a lot in my free time. One book I'm currently reading is "In a Sunburned Country" by Bill Bryson. He's a humorous travel writer, and this book is about his experiences in Australia. I've previously read another of his books, and he really blends together factual information and interesting anecdotes well, so that's what I like most about it.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family and friends (I guess this is overly obvious)
  2. My sense of humor ability to communicate
  3. My pug dog, Winston.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I guess this isn't as pertinent to relationships, but at work I think people's first impression of me is that I'm too laid back, which usually isn't thought of as a strength in my profession. Though in time I think people see that I'm focused and ambitious at work, I express it in a different way. So I guess I wish that people understood that side of me more quickly.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Funny, Intelligent, Perceptive

A little more about me

I'm a pretty open person, so you can ask me most things.
