More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

education, Politics, philosophy, economics, history, people watching, meeting new people, interesting conversation, running, rugby, water skiing, travel

I typically spend my leisure time

I love playing ruby. It's a great way to releave stress, get to meet new people, and connect with a group of people on a level never thought attainable. I love working out, It is a great way to realive stress, feel better about yourself and stay in shape. I love teaching and mentoring. I am studying to become a highschool teacher and teach a few classes at westland county highschool. I have never felt more satisfied then when I am teaching, cousiling and talking to them about life.

The most influential person in my life has been

Authenticity (or genuineness): Someone who is wholly themselves and confident in who they are. I don't want to spend my time reassuring you or stroking your ego. How can you know what or who you want if you don't know and aren't accepting of your true self?Seemly hard to come by now...

The first thing people notice about me

Confidence. I'm not an arrogant jersey shore type but I'm comfortable with who I am. I like to debate and love to hear others opinions, I don't have a problem voicing my own.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Vagabonding: an Uncommon Guild to the art of Long-Term World Travel. It really changed my life. It inspired a whole new way of thinking about travel. It inspired me to tlive in India and see the world. Quick read, totally perception altering

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my friends and family
  2. My liberal/openminded upbringing
  3. The City of Chicago!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I'm really sarcastic and flirty but most people don't know how sentimental I am. I'm a hopeless romantic and have an appreciation for true friends and family that not many see.

Friends Describe me as

Ambitious, Caring, Intelligent, Outgoing

A little more about me

I have an amazing family and some of the best friends in the world (and all over the world for that matter). I?m a challenge? a bit elusive, fun, vibrant, funny, sarcastic, opinionated but not blindly so, a people watcher and a flirt at my core. I?m always up for adventure and think that the only constant in life is change. I?m driven, passionate and anything but usual. If you?ve read this far then there is some interest, please, send me an email. Don?t window shop, I don?t bite? at least not at first. No pressure, no expectations, just be ourselves and see where things go.
