The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about building strong relationships with people of quality, including friendships, business relationships and partnerships, and of course a romantic relationship. I am also very passionate about my career; I consider myself very fortunate to have found a profession which I love and am committed to. Finally, I am passionate about life itself...live is to be lived and enjoyed, not just worked away until you find yourself until you are too old to enjoy it to the level that you wish you would have when you were young enough to enjoy all that life has to offer.
I typically spend my leisure time
1) Spending time with family and friends...I am much more interested in whom I am spending my time with than where we are at and what we are doing. If I am with people I enjoy, I can have fun doing almost anything.2) Social occasions - I like being in a situation where I can meet new people and potentially form new business associations or possibly new friendships...as long as said occasion is filled with good people who have their own identity, not filled with the usual LA crowd of toadies and poseurs.3) Good sex with a wonderful partner, when I have one! (don't think this one needs an explanation ;)
The most influential person in my life has been
Good character would, overall, be the main thing...within that fall genuineness, honesty, trustworthiness, etc...oh, and I must also say it...someone who is NOT addicted to drama!
The first thing people notice about me
My intelligence...unfortunately, I find that I need to try and dumb myself down a bit when I first meet many people because I have been told that I either intimidate them, or come off as a know-it-all, which is never my intention...I just enjoy good intellectually stimulating conversation or intelligent debate. Sad to say, not many people any more seem to share that interest.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Musashi - It is a Japanese novel based on an historical legendary warrior from 16th century Japan. It is a wonderful depiction of two boyhood friends, one of whom constantly improves himself throughout his life, and the other...well, constantly blames everybody but himself and constantly views himself as a victim.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Caring Family
- Quality Friends
- Working in a career which I love
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I definitely DO have a fun, outgoing, somewhat roguish nature and personality...but it reveals itself more as my comfortability level rises with a person.
Friends Describe me as
Funny, Genuine, Good listener, Intelligent
