More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Doing outreach work for the needy, my love for God and walking in love toward others! I find a great amount of pleasure in doing for others, even in a meaningful relationship with a potential life partner! I believe we are all meant to be a blessing to others we come into contact with. So I strive to be the absolute best person I can possibly be for myself and for the others around me.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy dancing, studying human nature, theology, football (Go Colts!), hiking, bonfires, boating, bicycling, playing the piano, saxophone, drums & flute, listening to music, concerts, singing, writing my own music & poetry, working out, movies, travel, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Self-Improvement, bowling, billiards, auto racing (performance rather than spectatorship), animals (I've shown Horses & have trained dogs), real estate/construction/renovation (I love tools/Do-It-Yourself projects), woodworking, interior design & outreach work.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important quality I am looking for in a mate is HONESTY and FAITHFULNESS. I list two because really they both go hand-in-hand.

The first thing people notice about me

My Sense of Humor and Love for Others. I have a passion for life and find joy in almost any situation, though I have the ability to discern when is the right moment to be totally serious. In most cases, I feel it is imperative to have a proper perception of things and find a reason to laugh. It is laughter that keeps a person from falling deep into depression over their circumstances.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"In the Meantime" by Iyanla Vanzant was the last book I ever read. I truly enjoyed it and have recommended it to many others. This book teaches you how to overcome your life's past to prevent you from carrying excess baggage into new relationships. It also teaches about what love is, how to recognize it, how to operate in it and how to receive it when it is given to you. Basically, this book is about being a whole, healthy and happy person.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My relationship with God
  2. My son and others I've come into contact with
  3. My personal growth & health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

This question is somewhat trivial for me, because it depends on who I am in contact with and why. Generally I allow myself to show forth my authentic self. Therefore, people usually see my real personality and character traits. However, sometimes I do get nervous and shy and fail to shine with how truly outgoing I really am until another encounter or two. I wish those moments did not exist for me (even though they are more uncommon than frequent).

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Happy, Intelligent, Optimistic

A little more about me

I am far from perfect and have my own flaws to work on and work through. Many men find my ambition and experience intimidating. But one thing I am not is Judgemental or Controlling. I go with the flow of life and have my times of staying home, doing nothing at all except enjoying the moment and the now. I do not expect anyone to live life super-humanly, nor do I expect a potential mate to have the background I have. Everyone is equal to one another no matter their materialism, their finances, their job or their resume. I am very humble and far from being conceited. Each moment I have or have had is a true blessing!
