More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Life, the universe, and everything. Friendships and every aspect thereof. I would be passionate about my significant other were I to have one. I want to be passionate about more things, but need someone special to share them with so as not to waste the experiences.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love seeing movies. I enjoy almost every movie I see, and have almost never walked out of even a bad one. The experience of going to the theater is really important to me. Books are equally important. Anyone who doesn't read regularly probably suffers for it. Theres nothing better than a rainy day spent reading, or sharing a great passage with someone who cares.

The most influential person in my life has been

Loyalty and straightforwardness... I don't like surprises relationship-wise and want to know where I stand at all times.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm fairly ready to laugh, poke fun at something ridiculous, or make small talk if nothings going on.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently read and enjoyed Zodiac by Neal Stephenson and Rant by Chunk Palahniuk. They're hard to categorize, the former being about a group of eco-terrorists and the later relating to a disease outbreak in a dystopic near future. I read a lot of fantasy / sci-fi stuff but prefer the "low" versions of them, grittier and more based in reality and character development.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Memories of good times
  2. Close friendships and the adventures they bring
  3. The infinite possibilities of everyday life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

The fact that I'm nice to people all the time. I'm the perpetual victim of the "nice guys finish last" cliche.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Intelligent, Kind, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm a geek, but NOT the basement-dwelling kind. If you haven't dated one, we're awesome boyfriends.
