The one thing I am passionate about...
I enjoy taking time to be with my family and friends when I'm not working, as well as learning to set aside time every day to relax and enjoy the day's accomplishments. Even if that means understanding I didn't get it all done exactly the way I wanted it. I believe in a good night's sleep and I don't think it's a badge of honor to be sleep deprived because of career. My interests outside work are intrinsic to it, so I actually feel very lucky that my job is related to my hobbies.
Ability to just BE there without feeling he must perform or impress all the time...friendship/romance takes work, everyone will agree, but ease of companionship is key. Someone who isn't judgmental and critical of everything they observe in others--that's exhausting to listen to. Someone who values their own personality over their physical appearance as well as the same in others.
My confidence or tendency to inject humor into almost anything I'm doing.
I don't get much time to read novels/fiction. I do read a lot for my job, but it's mostly research and journals/articles related to my field.
I'm a lot sweeter than you'd know right off the bat--sometimes my humor can lead people to believe I'm not as soft in the heart as I am.
Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Perceptive
I'm not looking for someone who is rich, perfect or drop-dead gorgeous. I have dated all three and notice I'm still looking. If you're any of those things, fine, but don't bother with me if you think THEY are why I should bother with you. I am none of those things, most of us are not, but I am: self-sufficient, reflective and attractive enough to be confident. Why beat around the bush, right? :)
