More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about things that inspire, challenge and entertain me. These can be serious things (big issues) or not-so-serious (the drama of my fantasy football team). I can also get passionate about a really great glass of wine at the end of a long day.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love live music - going to see a great band in a great venue is always a good night in my book. I also enjoy a good movie, a nice dinner, interesting art, or anything else that stimulates my senses. Add in good friends and the night gets even better!

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, compassionate, has a good sense of humor...the basic "good stuff" you'd want to find in a friend and partner. Bonus points for cool shoes, too.

The first thing people notice about me

I look like a nice, buttoned-up kind of gal, but that I really enjoy a bit of mischief! I try to be game for just about anything - it makes life more interesting.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. The story centers around a Depression-era traveling circus. It's basically a love story, which isn't that exciting on its own, but in this setting it became much more interesting and made for a great read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Awesome friends & family
  2. Beauty in art, music, nature, etc.
  3. The little things (a sunset, towels right out of the dryer, job well done, etc.)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I can be a bit reserved at first, but I'm really a very open and warm person. Once you're in with me, you're in, and I'll go to bat for you, laugh with you, cry with you...you get the picture. Don't mistake a hint of shyness for aloofness!

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Generous, Intelligent, Thoughtful

A little more about me

I am a sucker for spy stuff.
