More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about the people that are important to me (i.e. close friends, some family), learning new things, looking at the world in new and critical ways, laughter, my home, my career, and my future.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy movies/books, music, good conversation, traveling, and learning that I suck at home improvement.

The most influential person in my life has been

Two things: clear communication and chemistry.

The first thing people notice about me

I've been told that I appear confident and somewhat intimidating. While I have insecurities like everyone else, I've learned the importance of "command presence" from my job :)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Confessions of a B-Movie Actor by Bruce Campbell. I admire the creativity/simplicity of the film industry discussed in the book and I think Bruce Campbell is damn funny. I also like David Sedaris' essays - he is hysterical and clever.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Close friends
  2. My education
  3. Confidence in my abilities

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am often perceived as being reserved, but I am quite liberal in many aspects of my life (politically, socially, sexually, etc.)

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Easy-Going, Funny, Intelligent

A little more about me

While I appreciate a romantic gesture, I don't like anything cutesy - no hearts, cheesy cards, precious moments figurines, or anything like that. I think romance should be based on an understanding of other your partner and what makes him/her tick. For example, I'm very into music, so a mix-cd of songs that I will like would be much more effective ;)
