More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Two of my passions are ice hockey and music. It's hard to beat a Stubb's out door show on a cool night -- I just picked up Rocksmith (a game that's supposed to help you learn Guitar, it's pretty sweet -- almost have High an Dry down). But, most of all, I'm passionate about stories (fact or fiction). I love to hear them and to tell them. Life is story and can be so very interesting...even the boring days have something to say.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to watch movies or a good hockey game. I also enjoy games with my friends, or going to see a concert.

The most influential person in my life has been

The foundation for any healthy long-term relationship is friendship. So, I'm looking for a friend who can love themselves and others, flaws and all.Within that, someone who enjoys laughing at the world and themselves, who loves a good story (in any medium), and can get creative from time to time.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm a relaxed person, and like to roll with the punches.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Let's see...honestly, after a run of non-fiction (Good to Great, Tipping Point, and Tribal Leadership), I've taken in a run of comic books including: Blackest Night, Brightest Day, and volume 3 of Hellboy. Inter mingled with the Hunger Games series, and King's Wind Through the Keyhole. I'm thinking either David McCullough or Stephen King next..

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family - they are a rock (perhaps a squishy one at times, but they are my foundation nonetheless)
  2. My friends - real friends are the family you choose
  3. Today it's the internet, it's like my very own Oracle at Delphi...only easier to access

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I guess it's that I enjoy sharing stories, even if I come across as reserved when I first enter a new group -- I like to listen and observe before hoisting my ideas on others.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Easy-Going, Genuine, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm not one to travel the world. I often imagine doing so (and wholly plan to), but when vacation time comes around I invariably use it to visit family and friends. The way I see it, when my last day comes, I won't regret not seeing the castles of central Europe or the Great Wall of China. I will, on the other hand, wish I'd spent more time with those I care for.
