More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

truth and loyalty. In terms of truth, simply be honest with me, be straightforward, tell me how you feel. Even if it's something I don't want to hear, it's best just to be honest and truthful. I can deal with disappointment, but I can't deal with lies.

I typically spend my leisure time

Hiking and photography. There's just something so peaceful about a long hike in a remote area. No cell phones, certainly nothing like an iPod. In regards to photography, right now I am a "picture taker." Someday I hope to be a "photographer." But I try to make up in enthusiasm for what I lack in talent (actually, that sounds a lot like what I do in terms of my singing ability!). Of course I like sports (like most American males), especially college football. I have the "distinction" of having been at 3 schools that at one time or another held the record for the longing losing streak in NCAA history!

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty. I don't want to play games. As I said above, just be open and truthful - the rest will take care of itself.

The first thing people notice about me

I am a good listener.

The last book I read and enjoyed

No Country for Old Men. The Road. I'm a huge Cormac McCarthy fan. Read everything he's written. Best writer since Faulkner. Just finished So Long, See You Tomorrow - a very short book by William Maxwell. What a pleasant discovery.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my son
  2. my health
  3. my career

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Easy-Going, Good listener, Intelligent

A little more about me

I really like people. In my job I deal with people on a constant basis. I find people (well, at least most people) enjoyable, pleasant, stimulating, and challenging. But at the end of the day I want to leave the crowd behind and enjoy the company of someone to whom I feel very close.
