More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about sports especially college basketball and the Chicago Cubs. I watch Sportscenter sometimes 2-3 times a day. I enjoy reading and try to visit the library a few times a month. My family and I are very close. I'm blessed with a father who means the world to me. I also have a mother and step-mother who go above and beyond for myself and my two brothers. I have a niece and nephew who I love dearly yet need to keep in contact with more often. I attend church and teach Sunday school. I love being apart of a group of Godly friends who share the same beliefs as I do. I love children so single dads are all good : )

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy sitting back watching a game or attending one in person. I also love exploring the city and finding new places to hang out.

The most influential person in my life has been

I want someone who is willing to put in as much effort as I am. I've always been the "giving" type regardless if it's a friendship or romantic relationship. I'd be happy to find a man who wants to show his feelings towards me as much I want to express and show mine.

The first thing people notice about me

I've often been told that I have a nurturing spirit and I believe this stems from my many years of working with children.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Proverbs for Life Proverbs for You. This book is a daily devotional that touches all different topics. It was a great way to start my day. I enjoyed it because the topics apply to everyday life and the different circumstances that people go through. It also has a section at the end of each reading that gives out examples of what you can do to help address the particular topic that was just discussed (i.e. anger, communication)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family
  2. Good health
  3. Close friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm very easy to please.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Genuine, Respectful

A little more about me

I'm left-handed, love big cities, cringe at the White Sox,Duke men's basketball and the Lakers, eat ice cream with a fork (got it from my dad ha), intrigued by forensics/homicide shows (i.e. The First 48 and not t.v. shows like CSI), and enjoy traveling.
