More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love being with kids. They are fascinating, unique, and I get a huge kick just talking to them. I started coaching little league baseball and girls softball because of my children and found that I enjoy other peoples kids as much as I do my own. I'm very close with family & have always had a strong connection with parents and siblings. Nothing matters more. Friends come next and, for me, the circle of people in life is far more important than any posession could ever be. I'm a Christian, a prodigal son who finally understands that there will be no peace in life without a relationship with God. I feel joy making music.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to enjoy the company of a good friend or interesting aquaintance. That could be just about anywhere but over dinner, at home, or a friend's house comes to mind. I miss camping. I like to play guitar along with the sterio and one of these days I'm going to surprise some people. I enjoy golf, tennis, and hiking. Picnics!

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone that shares the same values, can accept and love my kids, and that takes care of themselves.

The first thing people notice about me

I really don't know.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just re-read Tale of Two Cities. Great story that is beautifully written. Great Expectations...anothe Dickens classic. God Emperor of Dune by Hurbert. Yes SciFi, but it's incredible and loaded with philosophy. Hurbert is a genius and reveals himself in the book. Less fun but interesting...Willful Blindness by McCarthy discusses our near suicidal blindness to the threat posed by Islam. Surprised By Joy...CS Lewis.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my children
  2. family...mom dad & siblings
  3. friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Got me again...I can't say.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Funny, Good listener, Optimistic

A little more about me

This may be a personal fault but I am only attracted to women who are physically fit. I admire those who take care of themselves, especially moms, because I know it isn't easy to get back in shape and stay that way after having a baby. Just in case you're wondering, I have to work at it too.
