The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about my life, and in particular my work, the people in my world, the opportunities that I have to give to others and the adventures that present in my life. I strive to live my life in a way that reflects the gratitude I have for that which I have been given. This means making the most of every opportunity at work. It means fully embracing the people that enrich my world. It means ensuring that I give to those who are less fortunate. It means when the adventure is jumping out of a plane, I jump because I can. The motto:Live well,Laugh often,Love much.
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy working out at the gym. It is the best release I know to get rid of the every tensions that develop during the work day. I also enjoy dining out, especially upscale dining. I grew up in small towns so the fact that there is always a new restaurant to go to is one of the treats of living in a larger city. I truly love to cook, but cooking for one is wasteful in most cases. I never get around to eating the leftovers and half the specialty items that were bought to make the dish end up going in the trash because I only needed to use a portion of what was bought, so it spoils.
The most influential person in my life has been
The ability to communicate is critical, unless the communication is a critique of me, then, not so important. ;)
The first thing people notice about me
I do not know. I imagine it depends on the social situation in which we meet. If I am in a setting in which I have to be "on," then people will seem me as outgoing and gregarious. Other times, say winding down from work over a drink, the same people would walk away thinking that I was quiet, introverted and possible aloof.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I am assuming that the question is about a book that I read other than for work. In that case, the last book was "Playing for Pizza."
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My parent/brothers
- The opportunity to be there for Anthony's walk.
- The gifts with which I have been blessed
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
The quality that most gets overlooked is my sense of spirituality. It is not readily apparent to others.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Intelligent, Loyal, Passionate
