The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about design and I hope to own my own business someday. I love getting involved in cultural activities. I would like to get out and enjoy the city more than I do currently, although I do occasionally go out with my girlfriends. I love to be exposed to new things, and I'm not afraid to own up to being a perpetual student. I am getting my masters in Interior Design; it will take me another 3.5 years, so I am in for the long haul. I'm looking to meet someone that I can be as passionate about as I am in other aspects of my life.
I typically spend my leisure time
In my leisure time, I like to go out in the city and hang out with friends. I also take time out to play with my kitten and work on design projects and my portfolio. I do like to shop, I work very hard and I like to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I watch some tv, and love to watch movies and eat good food. I love meeting new people, especially when they can expose me to things which could include music, places to go out, and artistic venues, etc. I would like to spend more time outdoors, although my current schedule does not allow for much of that.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty and Communication are key. I want to meet someone who does not shy away from talking openly about their feelings. I'm a very sensitive person, and I would prefer to spend time with people who really take the time to understand me and treat me well.
The first thing people notice about me
Gosh, I don't know. I should ask my friends that... Maybe it's sincerity, being genuine. I think in a nutshell that's the most true thing about me. I like to have fun, and I'm kind of a goof at times, but I am serious when I need to be.
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Red Tent sort of expanded what was a paragraph about this woman's life in the Bible. I'm not a religious person, and actually the book was not based on that at all. It covered the life of this woman, her relationships with family, romantic relationships, her tragedies, and found happiness. It was the story of a potentially average woman, and yet the story of her life was so interesting, because it analyzed the relationships between people and the subtleties were exposed in a way that I haven't seen in a book in a long time. It is kind of a chick book, however I highly recommend it to anyone interested. I would definitely read it again
The three things which I am most thankful for
- A loving family
- A roof over my head
- My friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
At times I'm a little guarded around new people. Once you get to know me I'm an open book, and a very affectionate loving person with the people that matter most to me. :-) A little patience goes a long way.
Friends Describe me as
