The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm passionate about pushing myself mentally and physically. I want to go back to school to get my Masters. When I go to the gym, I try to push myself with my lifting more(as far as my shoulders will let me) and running further.I'm passionate about my relationships with my close friends.
I typically spend my leisure time
In my free time, when I want to be active, I enjoy going to the gym or running on trails near my house. I can also be a bit lazy and sit on the couch and watch movies or play video games. When I'm with my friends, I like it when we go to bars, it gives me a chance to socialize and drink. I occasionally enjoy a book, typically a Chuck Palahniuk or Neil Gaiman book.
The most influential person in my life has been
A sense of humor. I joke around most of the time, and it would be nice to be with someone who likes to laugh. To add to the humor, some geekishness would be nice; being able to watch a zombie movie and not get grossed out, only to flip the channel to catch the new Dr. Who. Or be able to play video games and curse and children over the internet. That would be nice too.
The first thing people notice about me
How I stumble over words when I talk to them. I'm a bit shy when I'm first introduced to someone, so I'll think too fast and that doesn't always help me form sentences properly. Typically ends with me sticking my tongue out saying "bmah bmah bmah," then putting my tongue back in and trying the sentence again. Additionally my clumsiness. So I'm clumsy with my tongue and my toes, that takes talent.
The last book I read and enjoyed
This is going to sound a bit geekish, but the Watchmen by Alan Moore. I read it a few months ago after I saw the trailer for the movie. It is a stunning graphic novel about murder and conspiracy. I suggest everyone should read it before going to watch the movie.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I'm thankful for my parents and how they were strict with me as a child
- My sense of humor, and how it's been able to make most if not all people laugh
- My persistance, to keep going for something that I want to accomplish.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Quoting my friend, "The college buddy who is incapable of thinking before he speaks, yet is maybe the most thoughtful person I know." I come off a bit rough sometimes when I joke, and that puts people off. But if they knew that if I weren't joking with them, then I wouldn't be talking with them at all, nor would I have any interest in doing so.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Energetic, Funny, Sweet
A little more about me
Holding hands is something I've been missing, especially with someone who I can look into their eyes and know what their thinking.
