More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I would have to say I'm most passionate about my job. I sometimes can't even believe I get paid to do it. It's a job where you have fun, work hard. and at the end of a shift you feel like maybe you made a difference to someone. Even when the call isn't that big a deal to us, it was an emergency to them and being able to show up and make it better for them is rewarding. Not to mention the guys I work with are some of the best people I've ever met. Never a dull moment at the station. Even if we are having a slow day you gotta keep your eyes open for one of those pranksters.

I typically spend my leisure time

I am pretty close with my family so I enjoy spending time with them. It doesn't really matter what we do. If it's with them, we'll be having fun. I like being outdoors. I like going to the lake, fishing, camping, playing golf, and cooking out.

The most influential person in my life has been

I think it would have to be an outgoing personality. We've all seen the guy with the girl that just sits in the corner and doesn't say anything. Never have liked that much. I want someone that has something to say and is not afraid to say it. Make me laugh. Thats the good stuff.

The first thing people notice about me

I like to make people laugh. I work with a bunch of clowns and my friends are hilarious. I have to keep up.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Dreams of my Father" by Barack Obama. It was really good. I learned a lot about his childhood that the news never tells you. I'll admit I was very impressed. I just started "The Audacity of Hope"

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Family
  2. My Friends
  3. My Job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Hmmmmm........I'll try to update that one

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Good listener, Loyal, Romantic
