More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm really passionate about people. About relationships and friendships and the intricacies of others' lives and feelings and how they relate to and affect me and mine. I am passionate about building my life and future in many ways: my career, my family and love life, my health and happiness. I'm making it an increased and serious priority to find the right person with whom to share myself...someone who wants to fully share themselves with me, too. I'm passionate about my dog, my friends, and my work.

I typically spend my leisure time

I absolutely love long walks with the dog and going on hikes. I adore a great glass of wine by a blazing fire. I anticipate spending quality time being close with the person I love.

The most influential person in my life has been

The capacity and courage to open his heart and mind and love fully and honestly, without letting past disappointments or hurt to get in the way of that.

The first thing people notice about me

That I'm incredibly easy to talk to and engage with. I love simple interactions with people in the checkout line at the grocery store, or just in passing. I think that the way I look sometimes sends people the wrong signal: that I'm not approachable or that if approached, I'd bite your head off.

The last book I read and enjoyed

It's called "I'm not myself these days." By Josh Kilmer-Purcell. Google it...it's totally out there and crazy and about a life and lifestyle I've never experienced myself or imagine I ever will. I love reading about places and people I will never go or ever be...it gives me perspective as well as allows me the luxury of stepping into someone else's life for the short while I have to curl up with a blanket and a book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. That I still firmly believe my soul mate is out there...somewhere.
  2. My beautiful, thoughtful, loving little sister.
  3. That my Jack Russell unconditionally, obsessively, terminally loves me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am one of the most loving, kind and thoughtful people they will ever meet. I sometimes get the feeling that because people find me physically beautiful they immediately think that I must be self-absorbed, bitchy or stupid. I'm really none of those things.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Funny, Good listener, Outgoing
