The one thing I am passionate about...
Fighting for the underdog in most situations, having some sort of rules and level paying field, education, trying new things, remembering the old things, laughing as much as possible, surrounding myself with a good social support system that can help me in most aspects of my life. When in a relationship, helping out the other person to the best of my ability. I feel that intimacy is reached better when words and actions go hand-in-hand. Honesty is noble and respected. I'm passionate about enjoying life and knowing that can be done in so many way. Setting goals in life and striving to reach them.
I typically spend my leisure time
The competitive side loves to play basketball, board games, cards or anything pretty much. I also like to scout out places to photograph with my manual camera. Occasionally, I assist a friend that is a DJ. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. Then, there is the lazy side that love to enjoy my comforts of home. I enjoy a quiet weekend of reading on the deck or going to a park and relaxing. I also visit friends when I can which usually means packing my slippers and getting cozy at their house. Oh yes, I'm also a scrapbooker. All those pictures have to go somewhere. I like to cook and invite friends over to enjoy.
The most influential person in my life has been
Looking for someone that is considerate of my time, interests, feelings and needs. I usually am the one that is very preceptive to the other person in a relationship. I appreciate someone who does the same for me.
The first thing people notice about me
My directness. I am honest and to the point and that scares most men and most women. I am sensative to others feelings but if someone asks my opinion, I give it. I don't see the world like everyone else, so many, actually ask me to give them my opinion. Weird right???
The last book I read and enjoyed
1. Janet Evanovich series about Stephanie Plum -loved most of them. She's a female, 5'3", from Trenton, New Jersey, bounty hunter that leaves her bullets in her cookie jar and gets tasered by her own stun gun. Love the outlandish characters that the author creates. I have actually burst out laughing while reading her books. 2. The Day Before Thanksgiving for my niece and nephews. (By the way, LOVE that story)
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My Family for their love, support, understanding and of course their version of humor.
- My close friends and the fact that they are so different from one another in so many ways.
- The days when I can take advantage of the delicious weather, get outside, and enjoy an aspect of nature I haven't noticed in a while.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I'm a huge softee. I'm like a truffle- have a tough exterior but really soft and sweet on the inside.
Friends Describe me as
Energetic, Genuine, Outgoing, Passionate
A little more about me
If you didn't pick up on my personality--- I amuse myself, often. I think it is in a "good way". My job requires me to do so or I'd be nuts. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, so I'm always trying new things. I have knowledge of many things. I work and take classes just to keep busy so I'm not as faithful about checking email as I like to be. There is a 1% relationship between intelligence and spelling ability. I'm a horrible speller. Why isn't there a spell checker on here? Oh! I don't kill bugs- (bad JuJu)
