More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Reading for pleasure (pro), bar league kickball (pro), Prop 8 (anti), my friends (pro), keeping things tidy (anti), sleeping in and naps (pro and pro), school uniforms (pro), teddy bears on Valentine's Day (anti), Minnesota (pro), cheese (pro), olives (anti)

I typically spend my leisure time

Meeting up with friends for drinks, concerts, movies, etc.; Lounging around the apartment

The most influential person in my life has been

Is "meshing well" a quality? That probably means way too many things. The quality I want you to have is that you like me and I like you. I can't nail it down to one thing. In no particular order: funny, kind, smart, chill, and hot as the blazing sun.

The first thing people notice about me

The major take-away from first meetings with me (I've been told), is my dry humor. Apparently, I'm pretty funny.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read constantly, so expect this to be out of date by the time you read this: The last book I read and enjoyed was "The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Book II." It's the continuing adventure of a black child reared in a remarkable manner before and during the American Revolution. Highly recommended.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My awesome, supportive family
  2. The opportunities I've had to experience the world
  3. Being alive in the golden age of reality television

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Despite my inability to say anything not teasingly, I feel terrible if I find out I have hurt someone's feelings or touched a sore spot. I'm no meany.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Funny, Genuine, Rational

A little more about me

I just really want to skip the awkward dating part and head straight into watching Sunday afternoon tv in our pjs. Also, I love video games, but I don't own a system, so if this works out with us, you'll have to share. Unless I get one for Christmas, in which case I won't have time for dating people anyway, at least until the novelty wears off.
