The one thing I am passionate about...
About what God has me doing for the moment. About my family, my future, and my friends. I am passionate about my books, music, and about food. I love being outdoors and yet I enjoy hanging out by the fireplace when it is cold. I am most passionate about my family and my faith when it comes right down to it. I am passionate about life itself because I almost missed living totally. I am thankful for every morning I have to wake and walk with God another day.
I typically spend my leisure time
I enjoy reading, talking to, and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy learning and growing in who I am and broadening my horizons.. I love to read and also love musuems, antiquing, and going to flea markets with my mom. I enjoy the outdoors and don't mind spending time in the city(though I do prefer the country). I also enjoy riding 4-wheelers with my brother and also don't mind a little target practice and fishing now and then. And...I am not above a football game or two(I know, I know-I am a farm girl...what can I say!)
The most influential person in my life has been
I look at their faith, their commitment to their family and their values. I don't care how well you can talk the talk, if you can't walk it what good is it to know it. I know we are all imperfect people and we will always fail, but a person of integrity, faith, courage, and steadfastness will always be important to me. Someone who will speak the truth in love and not be hesitant to show compassion. I also truly appreciate men who can be honest about theie feelings, but most of all I want a man who will be a leader to me while at the same time as being my covering-spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
The first thing people notice about me
People always notice my eyes and my personality. I am extremely outgoing and have no problem speaking my mind and standing up for my values(occasionally I lose "friends" because of my values and my efforts not to compromise).
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel, "A Man Worth Waiting For" by Jackie Kendall, and "Love, Sex, and Relationships' by Chip Ingram, "Under the Tuscan Sun" can't remember the author of that one(I tend to be reading like three or four books at a time). Mostly I read about relationships, cooking, and faith/religion stuff lately. And I enjoy a good biography now and then.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my family and the values they raised me with
- my friends
- my spiritual life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
THAT I AM NOT INTIMIDATING! I just know what I want and expect and I am very driven to achieve the goals that have I set for myself. My favorite saying, "If you don't give God something to work with how can He help you?"
Friends Describe me as
Genuine, Outgoing, Passionate, Spiritual
A little more about me
This is the second time I have put my information out there for others to see in this manner(and my first experience wasn't the greatest) so I am a little leery of what may happen. I will be totally open and respectful of you and I only ask the same in return. And I ask you not to judge me right off but get to know me first. You can always find me at [indianacolts1985 at Y] if you want to talk!
